My name is Melanie Powers and I am the owner/photographer of Powerhouse Tours.  I recieved my Telecommunications degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.  Immediately after college I worked at WRTV Channel 6 in production and engineering doing everything from working in the control room, to operating cameras during the news, to managing local live on-location shoots.   After the TV Station, I went to work at Hanke Photography in Plainfield, Indiana.  There I learned much about photography and what constitutes great composition.  After that I became a realtor with Remax in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.  I have taken all of this experience in photography, production, and Real Estate and merged them to offer a superior quality virtual tour.
